Organization

A little back ground...when my husband and I got married (As I type this it was only one month ago tomorrow), neither one of us had lived on our own.  We started dating so young, we never moved away for college and just ended up living with our parents until we got married.  So, we decided to jump right in and buy a house.  We remodeled for a month before the wedding and moved in two days before we said "I do".
I've been blessed with a very hardworking husband who has a wonderful job so I'm currently not working since I'm a full time nursing student. However, funds are tight...Very tight.  So decorating and organizing are all on a major budget (which is also organized). Since becoming a homeowner, organizing and cleaning has been taken to a whole new level. What I mean by that is I am CLEANING ALL THE TIME.  Here's a few reasons why:

1. We have a dog. Not just a dog, but a Husky. A husky that sheds. Alot.
2. When we remodeled, we put in dark laminate wood floors. Stupid. Not a good idea.
3. The kitchen has white countertops with white grout.
4. The shower doors are a very textured blue glass, and we have LOTS of minerals in the water here.
4. We live on a busy corner and our windows are open cause its been so hot (DUST)
5. Did a mention we have a husky? And a lawn thats watered every other day? and a doggy door? (wet doggy paw prints)

So, I vacuum everyday, dust everyday, my showers are never shiny because I still can't find a cleaner that gets the water marks off even though we squeege the doors every time we shower. (so far mr. clean magic eraser has worked the best).  So I made up a calendar and organized a schedule so I don't feel overwhelmed.  I'll post that eventually when I post about that.

On to organization..

I've never paid bills before and now have a lot of responsibilities...so I have to figure all that out in a system that actually works for me so I will actually do it.

Join me on my journey!!
